The Food of Chennai-Part 2
So this is basically just a blog about different restaurants in Chennai and what they are famous for.
This is my final blog. Bye guys! :<
Ok fine. Not forever, but like a month ‘cause I have Annual exam coming up.
Meet ya in April!
Lunch
From traditional banana-leaf meals to North Indian Thalis, Chennai has all varieties of food
1.Bakya Veg Restaurant
This is a very popular multi-cuisine restaurant in Chennai. From Chapati-Curry to South Indian meals, you can find everything here. The food is truly delicious. There are branches in West Mambalam, Valasaravakkam and Saligramam
2.Thaligai
Truly delectable! I love this place’s Banana Leaf meals. This place serves Sattvic (No Onion No Garlic) meals. But the problem is, it might be permanently closed. I do not know as I have not visited it for months, but still, it is in T. Nagar
3.Little Italy
A pure vegetarian Italian restaurant, it is actually a Pan-India chain, in fact,it has sister brands! It offers a delicious menu of pastas and pizzas. A must-try is their Pinsa and truffle based dishes such as Truffle Mushroom Pasta. In Chennai, it has three branches: at Anna Nagar, Besant Nagar and Nungambakkam.
4. Namma Veedu Vasantha Bhavan and VB World
The Namma Veedu Vasantha Bhavan chain and its global food chain VB World (and another global food restaurant, VB Signature) is an acclaimed vegetarian restaurant chain, and is EXTREMELY popular in Chennai. It is the place for for a scrumptious lunch and a scrumdiddlydumptious (thank you, Roald Dahl ) dessert . Especially the Indian sweets and Pastries at VB World.
